The role is responsible for developing and executing digital marketing strategies and tactics that support B2B marketing for Optum Senior Community care and other assigned businesses within Home and Community Care.

The ideal candidate is a self-starter with experience creating new strategies. This person should be comfortable with collaborating and communicating across all levels of the organization to gain alignment and execute on agreed upon objectives. Primary responsibilities will be digitally focused, however the ideal candidate should have the ability and willingness to work on traditional marketing tactics as needed.

You'll enjoy the flexibility to work remotely from anywhere within the U.S. as you take on some tough challenges.

Primary Responsibilities:


  • Conceptualize and define measurable digital campaigns and tactics that motivate desired buyer behavior (lead generation, lead nurture) in support of business KPIs
  • Work in conjunction with marketing counterparts to deliver digital strategy, manage and execute campaigns and report on KPIs
  • Partner with internal/external creative resources on the creation and development of digital content (ex. social media assets, digital paid media visuals, etc.)
  • Project management of digital campaigns through creative development to production
  • Work collaboratively: develop, manage, and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders and keep them informed about campaign plans, status, and results
  • Support marketing counterparts with traditional marketing campaigns as needed by the business

    Required Qualifications:


    • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience
    • 5+ years of marketing experience; with a 3+ years of experience in digital B2B marketing
    • Experience in key B2B marketing approaches (e.g., account based marketing, lead generation)
    • Demonstrated expertise in utilizing B2B marketing to generate revenue and profitability
    • Intermediate proficiency in the MS office suite of Products (PowerPoint, Excel, Word)
    • Travel up to 5%

      Preferred Qualifications:


      • Experience in WorkFront
      • Healthcare or Financial Services marketing experience
      • Understanding of Medicare and Special Needs Plans
      • Ability to be flexible and work with ambiguity
      • Solid written and oral communication skills
      • Ability to thrive in a performance-based marketing environment
      • Solid organizational skills with ability to effectively prioritize and execute multiple projects
      • Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority

        Colorado, Connecticut, Nevada, or New York City Residents Only:The salary range for Colorado residents is $82,100 to $146,900. The salary range for Connecticut/Nevada/New York City residents is $90,500 to $161,600. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, UnitedHealth Group offers benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
